AOL found a security incident in its network and systems Monday and is currently investing the security incident, according to Dow Jones.

The information included email addresses, encrypted passwords, answers to security questions, postal addresses and address book information, according to AOL, but there was “no indication” that the encryption on the passwords or security questions was broken.

The company said it launched a probe soon after a surge in the number of spam emails showing up as “spoofed emails” from AOL addresses.

Despite the news, AOL’s stock was still slightly higher.
