Jobs shocker

A reality check from the Labor Department, and it wasn`t a good one.

Only 74,000 new jobs were created in December, far fewer than the roughly 200,000 economists expected — a real disappointment. It`s raising concerns now about whether this is a one-time miss or a sign of a real
slowdown in job growth.
