Republican House leaders wrapped up an hour-long meeting with President Obama where on the agenda, an offer to temporary increase in the nation`s borrowing limit, in exchange for a promise to negotiate over the long-term deficit reduction and a tax overhaul. But reopening the government is not part of that Republican offer.
