Amazon is taking yet another step toward elevating its offered convenience.
The online site expanded its same-day delivery option with a new “Get It Today” feature available to Amazon Prime members in the Baltimore, Dallas, Indianapolis, New York City, Philadelphia and Washington. D.C., metro areas, according to an Amazon press release.
Get It Today allows Prime members to order as many same-day delivery items as they wish for a single fee of $5.99. Customers can order as late as noon any day of the week and still receive as many of a range of products that includes video games and travel supplies as they wish the same day .
More than a million items will be eligible for the new feature.
