Seattle approves highest U.S. minimum wage

Today the Seattle City Council approved an ordinance that would raise the city’s minimum wage to $15 an hour, making it the highest in the nation. It will be phased in over three to seven years. Will this be a test case for other cities and states? Does $15 an hour make economic sense?
