Spotify says some internal systems compromised, will ask Android users to upgrade in coming days

Popular online music service Spotify says some internal systems have been compromised, and is asking its Android users to upgrade their software.

According to a post on the company’s blog, one user’s data was accessed, but the breach did not involve any password, financial or payment information. “We have contacted this one individual,” the company said. “Based on our findings, we are not aware of any increased risk to users as a result of this incident”,

This announcement comes only days after eBay announced a similar data breach and asked its users to changes their passwords.
